This week I present you another interesting application: “pulsepaper”.
Up to three times a day pulsepaper will receive an image pulse that will update your mobile wallpaper with a fresh new image. Images of categories like weather, space, cars, actresses, sunsets and sport are available, but also images from your own Flickr account, any Flickr account, Flickr search, Flickr Tag, Flickr group, web image search and web image search unfiltered (with verification of age).
pulsepaper:

This is the main menu of pulsepaper. I am choosing “Select Category” to set the kind of pictures I like as wallpapers.

A data connection is necessary when using pulsepaper. Now I have the choice between a “Flickr Search”, two kinds of “Web Search”, search any “Flickr Account” or “Picasa Account” I want to or pictures from “Nat Geographic”.

I am entering “Ronaldinho” to receive wallpapers of the football star. The application asks me, whether I want to load the pictures right now. To show you how nice pulsepaper works, I am choosing “Yes”.

And: Wow! The wallpaper is set and will automatically changed two additional times this day.

If the current wallpaper is so pleasing you, that you want to keep it, you can save it by choosing “Save to Gallery” in the main menu.
These are the main features of pulsepaper. It works really good, although the quality and the size of some wallpapers isn’t really perfect, as you can see ahead.
You can download and get additional information of pulsepaper here.
