Again a lot of you will laugh about this article, but I have seen a lot of newbies in forums who asked this question. I thought this would also be a topic for the “Noob Section”.
Active Standby:

1. Choose “Tools” in the main menu and in the following one “Settings”.

2. In the following sub menus, select “General” and then “Personalisation”.

3. Select “Standby mode”.

4. Here starts the proper personalisation. First you must make sure to activate the Active Standby. Of course you can also deactivate it, if you don’t like the barred view on the wallpaper.

5. Then select “Shortcuts”.

6. The settings here will change the actions on the two softkeys when in standby mode. Press the middle key to select from a large list of actions and applications.
When you have found one, confirm and do the same for the other key.

7. Back in the “Standby” menu, select “Active standby apps.”.

8. The settings here will select which applications appear in the row under the clock.
Do the same as in step 6 here and select the application or action you want to.
That’s it! Very easy, isn’t it?

Not much of a tip to let us know how to do things that are obvious from the phone’s menus.
How about removing selectively things that appear in the list below the shortcuts?
