You know yesterday was the day when the new firmware 15.0.015 for the N95 8GB was released.
The great new feature to watch Flash videos directly into the browser thanks to Flash Video support is of course the most interesting part.
So I will show you how to display videos from YouTube and Dailymotion with the N95 8GB.
YouTube:

I typed in YouTube’s normal internet address, but…

… like on the N95, the browser directs to “YouTube Mobile”.
This could be sensible for the N95, because it can not display Flash videos, but the N95 8GB can do it! So it was not very thoughtful of Nokia not to remove the auto direction.
With a click on “View Desktop Version”, …

I finally arrived at the “normal” YouTube page.

I typed in “nokmote” to search my little “Nokmote v1.0 Beta 1″ video.

I found it fast and selected it.

And now the big moment, when I saw, that I wouldn’t get an “Flash Plugin missing” error. The video is being loaded!

As you can see ahead, a little pop-up says “Click on video to play in full screen mode”. Of course I did that and could enjoy the video right away in full screen mode!
Only the YouTube buttons are still being displayed.

The “Pause” button worked, …

… as well as the slide control.

Either with a further click on the video or “Options” -> “Normal screen”, …

… I returned to the normal browser mode.
As you can see, it works really great to display YouTube videos on the N95 8GB.
Dailymotion:

I won’t explain the search as exactly as ahead.

I searched a video of the Brazilian football player Ronaldinho.

After selecting one, the video is being loaded as perfectly as with YouTube.

Because a Dailymotion video is paused with a click on it, …

… I had to use the “Options” menu and select “Full Screen” to display the video in full screen.

And it works! The Dailymotion buttons are also displayed at the bottom.

I also tried to watch videos with less known video portals. Here I used the German portal “Clipfish.de”.

It worked perfectly, too. Well done, Nokia!
Video from Symbian-Guru:
However, an application like emTube has got its advantages. Because the browser needs some time to load the large Youtube pages, you will find your desired video in less time with emTube.
Additionally, the videos are displayed in “real” full screen mode, there are no control elements. I think Nokia could also have implemented hotkeys to “Play” / “Pause” / “Forward” / “Reward” a video like in emTube.
But there is still no application which can play Dailymotion videos.
Apart from the mentioned disadvantages, this new feature is great and offers real Web 2.0.
