emTube 1.0.10 officially available

I posted some beta versions of the unreleased emTube version 1.09. It seems like this version will not be released for public, instead the developer offers brand new version 1.0.10 on his website since today.

Apart from normal stability improvements and bug fixes, “emTube 1.0.10″ includes three new languages (Spanish, Bulgarian and Hebrew).

emTube is now able to find also videos with restricted content.

Additionally, there is a “Sort by” option to arrange searched videos by “Relevance”, “Date added”, “View Count” or “Rating”.

And finally an option to “Scan drives for FLV videos” which is useful to play transfered Flash files, e.g. from your computer.

Changelog:

Fixed the infamous 404 error.
New: emTube searches now include restricted content.
New: added Spanish, Bulgarian and Hebrew translations.
New: added “sort by” option to the search view, also available as an settings option.
Fixed problems with playback of FLV files generated by SUPER conversion program.
Fixed: download percentage on the navigation pane wasn’t updated in some circumstances.
New: Saved clips view now includes an option to scan your phone memory / memory card for flash video files.
Fixed: A lot of bug fixes and small changes suggested by users to improve usability.

Nice new features and bug fixes again. You can download the new version here.

great program:) but:) what about video seeking capabilities and setting a position I want to play from, lets assume that my video has 2h and when I was watching a video, my phone hung, or OS crushed, it would be nice to return to the moment I was watching, now I have to start a video from the beginning :)

Maciek, you can fast forward using the left and right buttons when in fullscreen mode.

i.ve just downloaded the program while installing it says certificate expired. Anyone can help?

  13. fonzi Says:

Ben: Set your phone date back a year before installing. If that doesnt work try 6 months. After you can set your date back again. Best thing though is to hack your phone. That way you;ll never have those errors again.,

  14. fonzi Says:

Guys: Also you;ll find emTube not working anymore. Not sure why, copyright issues or something.Vidoes wont load to play.If the developer site opens again pehaps future version wil work again.Until then google mobitubia. Its also great but can play in portrait mode, only landscape.

  15. MOTU Says:

Not working for me either, hope they fix it soon

  16. Yann Lossouarn Says:

About the certificate issue : ensure the application setting allows “All” applications to be installed (not just signed applications), then set the date to (e.g.) April 1st, 2008 before installing the software. This will fool the phone into thinking the certificate is still valid.
