I am proud to announce Sittiphol’s great YouTube client available for everybody: “MobiTubia” has finally been made available for public.

You can download this great application on Sittiphol’s completely redesigned “MobiTubia” page.
Sittiphol worked really hard on his client winning Nokia Open C Contest and improved it massivly.
There is nearly no video lagging anymore and I worked hard with him to remove most of the bugs. The result is a smoothly working YouTube client with the best UI ever seen in an application.
We’ll see, whether mobile users will venture the step to leave the also great working application “emTube” behind. I am using “MobiTubia” everyday instead of “emTube” because I simply love the great UI.
In the end, all YouTube enthusiasts must decide for themselves which application to use. “emTube” still has some more settings, “MobiTubia” in contrast better UI and works quicker.
I explained the whole “MobiTubia” application in my huge preview. Because Sittiphol added new features since the preview’s release, I will only explain the deviating part, the full screen mode:

Well, I had to post another two screenshots of the great UI. Here you can see the main YouTube submenu.

And now to the proper new feature: the fullscreen mode. You can “Show”, “Hide” or “Auto Hide” (bar out after a second and bar in after key press) the “Status” bar.
Well, and more bugs than I can explain here I fixed together with Sittiphol. I just can say: Great work, Sittiphol, would have been a shame to stop development of this great application.
I am looking forward to the further versions of “MobiTubia”. Unfortunately, Sittiphol is studying for his Master Degree and hasn’t got so much time for developing. Anyway, he will take his time to do it and add great new features.
I am looking forward to the support of other portals.
If you like “MobiTubia”, please Donate to support Sittiphol’s hard work. Additionally, you will receive beta versions earlier than public and have access to the new “MobiTubia” forum.
