We have really not heard much by Samir in the last weeks. No new versions and no news about signing.
However, the day before yesterday, he suddenly announced to publish new versions of his applications ready for Open Signed and today, there is finally also moving something with his projects.
He today updated “rotateMe v2.1″ by releasing the second beta version to donators. “rotateMe v2.1 Beta 2″ is available for donators on his forum.

Also the new “rotateMe v2.1″ version has the nice main menu. The entry “rotateMe v2.2″ seems to be false since it is written different in the “About Me” page.
As a little reminder, “rotateMe v2.1″ differs from the already public version “rotateMe v2.0″ by supporting an 180° degrees rotation mode which is supported by the N95 and N95 8GB in the newest firmware versions. Nokia implemented this mode because of the new N-Gage application. That means that this version of “rotateMe” won’t work with older firmwares.
The only new feature: the user can choose to make “rotateMe” only work in the gallery. A nice idea, because I think that many users love to use auto rotation (only) in the gallery and to automatically switch it off is pretty useful for them.
If this feature will be fancied by people, Samir plans to implement a list of all applications installed on the phone to make the user choose in which application auto rotation shall be activated.
Nice new feature and nice future plans! Rotation only in the gallery worked without problems for me.
Furthermore, Samir fixed the bug that the settings weren’t saved.
Although I like the new feature, this version doesn’t offer many new things to the user. However, “rotateMe” is still the best auto rotation application and I really like it.
I cannot tell you much about the reliability of 180° auto rotation what really didn’t work properly in the previous version, but I will edit my entry as soon as I know more.
This is the first Samir application which uses unprotected UID range, so finally all “rotateMe” donators can use it as this version is fully compatible with Open Signed Online.
Nice to see that Samir is still programming, we are still waiting for all the applications he announced for January and still didn’t release?

i love the option for gallery only cos i hate it wen im writing a text and it rotates so hopefully the next release ill be able to make it so it dont work while im on standby screen or writing a text great work from samir @D

you bunch of idiots, stop waisting your time on that shit as none of the ‘free’ accelerometer applicatrions does not work. These guys – developers – they just post all the youtube videos to turn you on and make you want all the apps on your mobile. Since noone, ex ept them, has never seen anyt of the applications running, they-developers- will soon advertise their products at a reasonable price, and most of you will succumb to temptation and simply make them rich. WHat do you think. DOes it make any sens to you out there? wake up!!!!!!

i think these people are putting us in the dark. why have we not heard that this application is working especially on N95. I really hate, but can’t help, to feel that we are being psyched and it’s unfair. if it comes out free at least for some time, bravo. but if it doesn’t, shame to u all. end of story.

hey every one …i have dowloaded rotate me frm many a sites..but everytime i install it on my n95 8gb …it shows certificate error and says to contact the provider..guys i have also tried by changing my phne date …but still the same prob occurs….plz help me out guys….
