I really like the great new Symbian S60 phone from Samsung. The G810 which was announced at Mobile World Congress is actually more interesting for me than Nokia’s announcements:
I like the N96, but it doesn’t have many advantages compared to the N95, considering that I cannot use the main new DVB-H feature here in Germany. It has even large disadvantages e.g. the lack of 3D acceleration, because it is based on a different chipset, what is a real shame in my opinion.

So the great new G810 aroused my interest even more as it packs all the amazing multimedia features of the N95, in fact even more in some points with 3x optical zoom, into the great design and built quality we know from Samsung phones.
Running also with S60, I don’t see a reason why the G810 shouldn’t be a very serious competitor for the N95.
To demonstrate you this great design and the multimedia features in this nice Samsung device a little bit more, I have found a VERY nice hands on video with the G810.
It’s the best I have seen yet, showing not only the great exterior of Samung’s 5 MP phone, but also main features like the camera or GPS:
Everything looks very familiar compared to our lovely Nokia phones, S60v3 Feature Pack 1 is implemented as we would have expected it.
Nokia should really take this phone seriously, it’s one of the nicest “S60 packages” with a great design and amazing features united in one phone.
