You will remember my post about Tong Reng’s new version of “ShakeSMS”, the application which facilitates SMS reading by using accelerometer technology.
“ShakeSMS v1.01″ brought a new feature called “Extended Functionality” which uses gestures to execute commands related with a message.
Deleting and replying an SMS, viewing the message folder or exit and lock the keyboard – all these functions can be executed without any key press, just with certain gestures:
Lean Left — Leave (delete) SMS
Lean Right — Write (Reply SMS)
Lean Up — Up to the SMS Folder In
Lean Down — Done (Back to Previous Screen and Lock keypad)
To explain the functionality of this new feature even a little bit more exactly, Tong Reng published a video which demonstrates the “Extended Functionality” feature:
