I think you all know the great application “ShakeLock” developed by Manu to lock / unlock the keypad just with a little shaker which is detected by the accelerometer of the N82, N95 and N95 8GB.
No doubt that “ShakeLock” is a very nice application, but I had sometimes large problems to use the application. At least for me, it didn’t always work properly and things like signing and so on caused also problems.
The two Brasilian guys Rafael Tavares and Marcelo Tinoco had the same thoughts and developed their own application using the same concept and inspired by “ShakeLock”.
The result is a very well working application called “UnlockShake”.
UnlockShake:

Really not much I can show you about the application. After launching the application, you see this screen appearing with some information about the developers. It’s still the first beta version, so there aren’t any options to personalise the application.

However, “UnlockShake” executes the proper function, to lock / unlock the keys after shaking the phone, very well.
One shaker and the keys will be locked, another shaker and they will be unlocked again. In my opinion, key locking works even better than with “ShakeLock”.
“ShakeLock” is still the better “comprehensive package” with sensitivity settings and the nice left/right shaking direction idea. But “UnlockShake” does the thing it is developed for very well, the sensitivity is perfectly balanced.
Also ”UnlockShake” is already signed, another advantage to skip the annoying Open Signed signing proccess.
You can download the first beta of “UnlockShake” here. Both files the package contains must be installed to make the application work.

Yeah, you must have Python installed, because the application is written in Python: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=154155

Can’t agree with you. ShakeMe is in too early development to be released, the sensitivity is too high or low. The application is not really usable at the moment.
