Really strange, is this another “accident” of Nokia to publish hot information by mistake? We have seen similar cases like the published N96 specifications on the German Nokia page and also other examples.
Anway, there seems to be a very nice looking white colored N96 version which hasn’t been announced yet.
As you can see in the screenshot, the N96 White can be seen on the official N96 page on Nokia Europe. Still with very few views, beside the normal black version which can be seen as 3D modell from every angle you like only the nice white front cover.
The front cover seems to be colored white completely what looks noble and lifts the N96 off from the similar design of the N81. Because there aren’t any other views, I can’t say anything about a possible differently colored back cover, but the rudiments of the phone’s side seem to be black…
Still the picture looks a little bit strange in my opinion, especially the music keys around the direction keys. Maybe it’s just a modell of the upcoming new colored N96 created with a graphic software?
You can have a look at the white N96 on the N96’s page on Nokia Europe.
Edit: N96 White seems to be removed again…
I really like this new color version of the N96, makes the phone’s design something special.
I guess the new color shouldn’t be shown yet and shall later be another attraction for consumers to buy an N96. We have seen similar market plans of Nokia regarding the N82 or the N95.
April’s Fool!!!
Sorry to all of you who have been eagerly to get an N96 White. This was just my little April’s fool created in a few minutes.
Seems to have been pretty convincing for some people anyhow, even some bloggers linked the post.
But Chris and Rita saw through me: YES, everything just a Photoshop work.
I hope you don’t mind me kidding a little bit.

SWB the biggest fool is you, there are no black LED lights yet, so any fool knows it wouldn’t be used for phones backlighting.
