Smart Settings 3rd Edition released

“Smart Settings” is designed to protect your phone and make its appearance unique. It combines the possibility to lock the keyboard, prevent from using the phone’s 10 digits Master Code in case of lost, customize lock messages and access easily the most common applications.

The beta testing phase has been closed some time ago and now finally the full version ported from the successful 2nd Edition version has been released.

It’s unfortunately no freeware, different to the successful S60v2 edition, but is being sold for a fair price of 12 €. The reason should be the purchase of a Publisher ID to sign “Smart Settings”.
And when we are talking about the signing process: it hasn’t been finished yet, but MobiFun Soft is already selling the application. After you purchase Smart Settings, you will be manually sent a sis file signed with a developer certificate.

If you like the application, hurry up to buy it! MobiFun Soft has started a nice discount for the first 40 customers to get the application for 9 € instead of 12 €. Currently you still can be among the 40 ones.

To show you more about the application, I have already previewed a very similar beta version. That’s why I will only list the main features very shortly, more information in my preview.

Smart Settings 3rd Edition:

The first feature is a simple “Auto Lock” function. You can select in which profiles auto locking of the keyboard shall be enabled: either in “All profiles”, in “User defined” ones (any theme, also various at the same time can be chosen) or of course in “No profile”.

“Easy unlock” is more interesting and indeed very useful. You define your own hotkey to lock/unlock the keyboard, for example two presses on the “Down” key.

Also you can let the display light activated while having keys locked.

The most loved function of “Smart Settings” is the little “Start menu”. It’s a little menu which you can launch in standby mode with a press on the left or right softkey.
The number of applications and of course the application itself can be selected by the user and personalised with the “Content manager” by changing the order of the content.
