Finally a new N82 firmware is on the way! As usual, Teo from Symbian Freak has his trusted source which already confirmed the updates for the N95 and N95 8GB and has now done so for the release of v20.0.62 in a few days.
As I have announced, the new N82 firmware brings full Flash Lite 3 support to give users the possibility to view YouTube videos and of course other Flash content in the default browser.
Furthermore, Widget support has been added as well as the already known onbaord geotagging function which uses the GPS chip to save your current position in the EXIF file of a photo.
Last but not least the N82 supports the new Bluetooth profile AVRCP (Audio/Remote Control Profile). Apart from that, N82 will experience the normal bug fixes and stability improvements we know from firmware updates.
As we know it from the last updates, the firmware is expected for the next days to be available via NSU and the Nokia Service Centers. Another nice update of Nokia!

Wow! Cool!

Nokia should add a “Human Interface Device” bluetooth profile like Sony Ericsson Phones’. This enables the phone to function as a remote control (eg: move the mouse pointer, play/pause/stop/volume control video playback on the computer, etc using the phone’s keys).
You can do this on a W800i, so its probably possible hardware-wise, given n82’s superiority.
Wouldn’t it be cool if you can use the n82’s accelerometer to move the mouse pointer as well? This turns n82 into a “WiiMote”! I think this is not too far fetched, and should be do-able hardware wise as well
What do people think on this?

You can open the task manager by pressing the menu key.
@ Anonymous
You can only update your N82 by using the Nokia Software Updater.
