The new Flash Lite 3 version 3.1 is available for OEMS for some days now (Original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, is an ambiguous and abstruse phrase that refers to containment-based re-branding, where a company uses a component of another company in its product, or sells the product of another company under its own brand. OEM refers to the company that originally manufactured the product).
Adobe Flash Lite software is a powerful runtime engine for mobile and consumer electronics devices that benefits both device manufacturers and content developers.
By enabling manufacturers to provide customers with improved web browsing, video content, and compelling interactive experiences, Flash Lite 3 delivers an effective means of differentiating products. Additionally, Flash Lite 3 allows developers to quickly create engaging mobile applications, speed time to market, and increase customer adoption.
Although the new version doesn’t bring revolutionary new features, it’s cool to see a further step of developing in bringing Flash content to mobile devices to continue approaching desktop like browsing.
The Flash Mobile Blog has now published a snap of the list with new features that the upcoming Flash Lite version will bring:
It will be great to see some new S60v3 FP 2 devices shipping with support for Flash Lite 3.1 at the end of the year. Unfortunately, there won’t be a solution to upgrade our phones if Nokia doesn’t release a firmware update (and I don’t think they will), but because there aren’t any revoluationary new features, it’t not a huge problem.

Saw the announcement over at SF, but couldn’t find further information. So I didn’t post it until I found this.
