Nokia N95-3 Firmware v20.2.011 released

Like we have expected after the discussion at the Nokia Support Forums, Nokia has finally released a firmware update for the US version of the N95-3.

US N95 users were with good reason very angry about Nokia not showing any sign of support for them, although especially in the US Nokia has such a little market share and they should especially show presence there.

Anyway, the update v20.2.011 is here and brings most of the features that N95 can enjoy since a longer time because of previous updates.

It brings above all Flash Lite 3 support for the web browser and widgets support (web runtime). Still no word about demand paging which is of course not that necessary because the N95-3 has 128 MB RAM. Sure is however that it doesn’t have User Data Preservation and Auto Screen Rotation, features that N82 were able to enjoy with the last firmware update.

Finally an update, very good news for N95-3 users. The complete change log is still unknown, but will be posted as soon as it’s available.
