Tong Reng, the very talented developer of “FlipSilent”, has announced his work on another very interesting accelerometer using application some time ago.
It has become a little quiet around “ShakeSMS”, also because of the current problems with Symbian Signed, but today he finally released his newset application which helps you to open your incoming SMS in an simple and intuitive way:

Tong Reng, the developer of “FlipSilent”, is working at his very own application called “ShakeSMS”. When he maybe just copied Samir’s concept of “ShutUp”, his new accelerometer using application is his own creation.
“ShakeSMS” is simple application to facialiate SMS reading.
Normally you would have to unlock your phone keyboard, press some keys to view the message and relock the keyboard again after you finished reading.
“ShakeSMS” makes this proccess much easier. You shake your phone and the incoming SMS is displayed. Shake it once again and the message vanishes and your keypad is automatically locked again.
Once again a great example for the capabilites of accelerometer applications. They faciliate the use of phones a lot.

The newest version of “FlipSilent”, nice application to silence accelerometer using phones by flipping them over, has been sent to invited users, what means to translators and people who helped to improve the application.
It seems like the developer doesn’t have new innovative ideas, because he just copied two existing features of “ShutUp”:
“FlipSilent” can now be hidden from the task manager and you can end a call by closing the slider, similar to the “SlideCall” feature of “ShutUp”. Well, as I said, both features have already been included in “ShutUp v1.0 Beta 1″.

Well, no surprise anymore for readers of my blog, as I told you so yesterday. “ShutUp”, another great application of Samir, has been released this night.
“ShutUp” silences the ringing phone when flipping it over at an incoming call or answers / hangs up a call by using the slide of the phone.
Unfortunate for Samir, another author had the same idea and due to the amount of applications Samir is working at, “FlipSilent” has already been released. Let’s see, which application will assert itself.
ShutUp:

Like in every application, Samir is not only offering an application with just the proper function, but you can customise it with lots of “Settings”.

I just wanted to let you know, that the long awaited application “ShutUp” from Samir will be released tonight.
“ShutUp” silences or hangs up a call, when flipping your phone over. But as you can see below, Samir had more interesting ideas.
Over at his forum, he published a message including the information about the release date and the features “ShutUp” will contain:

First of all - my Internet connection is suddenly working again. I don’t know why, but I hope this state will remain like it is at the moment. Anyway, it could be that the problems reappear.
I missed some interesting things the last days and will try to fetch them all later.
I already wrote about FlipSilent’s version 1.03 with alarm snoozing support. This time it was only sent to donators and now it is also available for public.

Additionally, the developer hosted a proper site for his application, http://www.flipsilent.com. This site offers downloads of the current versions and a discussion board for donators.
The current FlipSilent version can be download on the bottom on this page. If you want to receive beta versions or want to support the developer, you can also donate there.

Version 1.03 is like version 1.02 only available for donators first. In a few days it will be available for public download.
If you cannot wait or just want to support the developer of this nice application, you can donate at the developer’s page.
Flip Silent 1.03:

I have already told you, that FlipSilent 1.02 has been sent to donators.
Now version 1.02 seems to run stable enough, so that the developer made it available for public.
If you don’t know about FlipSilent or want to have more information about it, read this article.
I will just tell you here about the new added features.
FlipSilent 1.02:

The main menu has got five options now, because of the added features:
