The great Flash application “RealVista Desktop” by … caused large attention, because it brought the amazing Vista optics to all Flash enabled S60 devices without changing or damaging any system file.
Many people installed “RealVista Desktop” on their phones due to the amazing look the application offers, however users of the latest Nseries flagships N95, N95 8GB and N82 discovered problems when launching applications out of the flash application.

I have just found another very cool multiplayer game which makes use of the accelerometer of the N95 and N95 8GB and N82.
Inspired by the popular “LightSaber”, Phone Fight is a prototype sword-fighting game for two players equipped with Nokia N95 or compatible phones. It makes use of the accelerometer within the phones to detect simulated sword slashes and blocks, and Bluetooth to communicate those moves between the phones and to notify the winning player of victory.

Nokia and its partners are currently advertising for their new N-Gage gaming platform with great campaigns: After their 15 000 free licenses for the football game “FIFA 08″, there is another new free giveaway for N-Gage admirer (and those who Nokia wants to win over with these campaigns ;) ).
In cooperation with Gameloft, the world’s largest mobile game developer which publishes also games for the N-Gage arena, the N-Gage team has put together a nice competition with great prices.

I have already posted the press release about a cooperation with Symbian and Dolby to bring rich and vibrant surround sound from various types of mobile entertainment content, including music, movies, television, and games, to Symbian smartphones.
The new Dolby sound was already presented at CTIA Las Vegas at the Symbian booth. IntoMobile has been there and posted some interesting pictures and information about the new Dolby application running on an N95 8GB.

Again Teo from Symbian-Freak is very well informed about coming firmware updates. He has been the first who introduced the new firmware v21.0.016 for the N95 a couple of weeks and is now the first who has news about a new firmware for the N95 8GB.
The new firmware is not a revolutionary one, but brings new interesting features.

Maybe you remember my post about the upcoming N95 Navi Edition – an N95-1 including special navigation features (probably an unlimited Nokia Maps navigation license) and a 2GB microSD card packed into a black colored cover.
This version was listed at Amazon.de, however with pictures of the N95 8GB.
Now a new color of the N95 is available in the Italian Nokia shop – possibly the Navi Edition will look the same?

Actually we have already known it, but Nokia today officially announced the shipment of the US version of the N95 8GB with the support of WCDMA.

More information about further changes are not common yet, but I think 3G support will remain the only one.

Yesterday I posted something about a possible new N95 8GB backcover.
Now I found a further picture at Ebay showing a brown N95 8GB, similar to the picture I already posted. It looks indeed like a photo and not like it has just been photoshopped.
The new color variant is called ”Copper”. PhoneSource USA and Plemix have already entered the new color variant into their product range. I think these are enough evidences that we’ll see a brown N95 8GB cover soon.
Again only the backcover has been changed, the front cover seems to have remained the same. Let’s see, when or whether we will se an “N95 8GB Copper”.
