Focusing on everything related with GPS and navigation, the Nokia 6210 Navigator positions itself in the mid-range with a full navigation capabilites thanks to a built in GPS chip and a not expiring license for Nokia Maps 2.0.

Nokia Maps 2.0 leaves Beta State – Updates include enhanced Pedestrian Navigation, new Satellite Images and Support for integrated Compass Orientation

Nokia today announced that its highly anticipated update for Nokia Maps has left beta stage and is now ready for consumers to download.
 
Downloaded over 240,000 times since announced in February, Nokia Maps 2.0 has improved its optional Car Navigation, enhanced its pedestrian navigation, added multimedia city guides, now offers satellite images, and is sporting a redesigned user interface. Nokia’s mapping and navigation solutions give people navigation features, local content and world maps directly on their mobile device, in a way that only connected devices can.

Next Nseries Device to be the Nokia N85 with WQVGA Resolution?

We are still concentrating on the N78 and N96 as upcoming Nseries devices in the near future, when there are already very interesting news over at the Mobile-Review forums which make us already face the next generation of Nokia’s multimedia line.

Eldar, the administrator of Mobile-Review, is obviously one of the best informed persons in the mobile scene and has posted some very interesting facts about the phones coming after the N78 and N96.

RealVista Desktop brings Windows Vista Optics to S60 Devices

As many people with the same opinion, I think that Microsoft’s current OS Windows Vista is everything else than convincing and revolutionary as the developers say, but one thing is  although it slows down your PC much an advantage for sure – the great optics.

The new “Aearo Glass” UI and all the other lovely icons, backgrounds and bars are real eyecatchers and maybe the only attraction for XP users to change to Vista.

iPhone Realized – iPhone Theme for S60 Phones by dragon-tmd

I have already told you my opinion about theme posting here at SWB, but I will repeat it once again. SWB focuses on cool applications, hardware news, tutorials and so on, and posts only about very exceptional themes. There are numerous other great sites which report about themes frequently like Symbianplanet by Mauikek.

Anyway, I know many S60 users are a radical enemy of Apple’s iPhone. But I also noticed that a lot of them also like the awesome touch control of the device and its menu design.
