You may remember that Samir has released the second beta version of his motion input application “Nokmote” which uses accelerometer technology to play games and navigate through menus just with movements of your phone.
“Nokmote v1.0 Beta 2″ had a major bug which let the application not work on newer firmwares of the N95 and N95 8GB. This bug has been fixed with the newest beta which does apart from solving the error message not bring any new features.

I had nearly lost confidence that Samir continues to develop applications for S60. We haven’t heard from him since months and so many donators were asking about new versions of his applications, above all because also the older version weren’t signable with Open Signed Online.
So I was very surprised to just see him releasing “Nokmote v1.0 Beta 2″, a new version of his application which provides the user the possibility to control his phone by using motion input.

The problems Symbian Signed caused by pulling back the possibility for everybody to create a developer certificate are obvious. The new “Open Signed Online” system works – but only for applications using unprotected UID range.
All the applications which are using protected UID range can currently not be signed except you still have a developer certificate valid for three years.

I told you about the release very promising accelerometer using application “ShakeMe” developed by the French developer Samir.
“ShakeMe” executes various functions by simply shaking your phone. This seems to faciliate daily working with a phone a lot, just shaking the phone instead of pressing a key.
Yesterday I wasn’t able to access the “ShakeMe” section in Samir’s forum.
Now the donation has finally been accepted and I have just been able to download “ShakeMe”. Really a nice thing, as I am only one of few people who could do so: few donations have been accepted yet what showed me the download counter.

Ah yes, I seem to have guessed correctly: “ShakeMe v1.0 Alpha 1″ has been released today.
“ShakeMe” is another great accelerometer using application developed by Samir. The application’s functionality has been kept secretly until its release to avoid imitators.
I just had another look at Samir’s website and discovered that the “ShakeMe” page giving information about the application’s use is finally online.

I wrote some time ago that Samir, the great developer of accelerometer using applications like Nokmote, rotateMe and ShutUp, has added the names of two new applications on his website.
The icons of “ShakeMe” and “LoudUp” are still disabled, so that we don’t know anything about the applications’ functionality yet. Indeed a good decision of Samir, because all of his applications have been copied, well let’s say they have received an “alternative”.

Samir, the developer of the great applications “rotateMe”, “ShutUp” and “Nokmote” seems to be working on new applications.
Since today, two new applications without an icon are stored on the main page. Samir will make all fans of his applications gambling about what the function of his new works is, due he didn’t leave any further information yet.
Anyway, I think both new applications will also make use of the accelerometer, what has become very popular nowadays.

Well, no surprise anymore for readers of my blog, as I told you so yesterday. “ShutUp”, another great application of Samir, has been released this night.
“ShutUp” silences the ringing phone when flipping it over at an incoming call or answers / hangs up a call by using the slide of the phone.
Unfortunate for Samir, another author had the same idea and due to the amount of applications Samir is working at, “FlipSilent” has already been released. Let’s see, which application will assert itself.
ShutUp:

Like in every application, Samir is not only offering an application with just the proper function, but you can customise it with lots of “Settings”.

I just wanted to let you know, that the long awaited application “ShutUp” from Samir will be released tonight.
“ShutUp” silences or hangs up a call, when flipping your phone over. But as you can see below, Samir had more interesting ideas.
Over at his forum, he published a message including the information about the release date and the features “ShutUp” will contain:

We didn’t hear much about Samir’s applications the last time, but now he released two new versions of “rotateMe v2.0″.
This night, “rotateMe v2.0 Beta 6″ was published for donators on his forum, but it contained a bug, autostart was not working when ‘By launching’ was enabled.
That’s why he just released “rotateMe v2.0 Beta 7″ which should be the last beta and basically the same as the final version released for public, if no major bugs will be discovered.

A new feature is activating / deactivating autorotation by launching the application, what means you reselect the icon, although “rotateMe” is already running.
Samir decided to add this feature, because he didn’t find a suitable hotkey for the Nokia N82.
Furthermore, he fixed the “Hidden App.” bug. The named features were already included in “rotateMe v2.0 Beta 6″ and as I said, “rotateMe v2.0 Beta 7″ additionally fixed the autostart problem of Beta 6.
